Summary/Objective
The Agronomy Manager will work closely with the Sales Managers in the region, will provide agronomic support, education, and research support for existing and new development products. A key function will include establishing a network with research groups, universities, and consultants.
The Agronomy Manager will report to the International Agronomy Director of BRANDT Discovery and Innovation and will work closely with the BRANDT EMEA Management and Sales Team.
Key BRANDT specialty products include but are not limited to: Micronutrients, Adjuvants, Bio Stimulants (Nutrient Use Efficiency and Stress management), and Water Soluble NPK Blends.
Essential Functions
- Technical Support & Market Development
- Provide technical expertise on BRANDT products to customers, growers, and the sales team.
- Serve as the primary technical reference for BRANDT in the EMEA region.
- Support key customer interactions, including large growers, distributors, and retail partners.
- Represent BRANDT at technical events, conferences, and industry partnerships.
- Develop and deliver technical training programs to improve the agronomic knowledge of the sales team.
- Maintain a strong understanding of key crops, pests, environmental conditions, and production practices influencing product performance.
- Develop technical agronomic content, including publications and product support materials.
- Research & Validation
- Establish and manage a network of independent research partners, including universities and private organizations.
- Design and implement research protocols aligned with key products and crop priorities.
- Oversee trial execution through regular communication and field visits to ensure protocol adherence.
- Manage the collection, organization, and quality of trial data.
- Data Analysis & Communication
- Analyze regional trial data to validate product positioning and performance.
- Summarize findings in clear, actionable technical reports.
- Present results to customers, growers, and internal teams to support product positioning and adoption.
- Leadership & Growth
- Support the development of regional crop positioning and technical strategies.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen BRANDT’s technical presence in the region.
- Potential to build and lead a regional agronomy team as the business expands.

Work Environment
The Technical Agronomist will be required to travel around the region to visit trial locations and attend meetings, training and events. The Technical Agronomist may be working in the field and will be required to attend professional meetings.
Travel
This position requires up to 50% travel within the region and some trips to corporate meeting locations.
Required Education and Experience
- Strong background in Mediterranean specialty crops is preferred; additional experience with regional row crops is a plus.
- MS or PhD in agricultural related field or least 7 years of experience in the area needed
- Familiarity with basic aspects of product research and design, field scale product evaluations and demonstrations.
- Highly developed customer service skills with a proven ability to foster strong customer relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Motivated, independent self-starter with results and solution orientation.
- Existing contacts within the dealer network would be an asset.
- Valid driver’s license.
