What to Expect
The Engagement Associate supports HCA’s California engagement strategy by executing programs and initiatives that enhance employee experience and drive engagement. This role leads corporate recognition and appreciation efforts, supports engagement events and communications, and partners cross-functionally to evaluate program effectiveness and ROI. The Associate also contributes to team and departmental initiatives aimed at increasing employee engagement across the organization.
What You Will Do
1. Engagement Programs & Operations
- Support enterprise-wide programs (e.g., AwardLink, Service Awards, Connect Clubs).
- Manage program logistics, tracking, reporting, and team communications (e.g., inbox, RSVPs, resource coordination).
- Assist with inventory management, including swag and engagement materials.
2. Event Coordination & Execution
- Support planning and execution of engagement and corporate events, including vendor coordination, budgeting, catering, and logistics.
- Prepare materials, presentations, and event resources; maintain event-related inventory.
- Partner with team members to evaluate event effectiveness and ROI.
3. Communications Support
- Assist with development and tracking of internal communications and social media content.
- Partner with Communications and Branding teams to support messaging aligned with engagement initiatives.
What You Will Bring
- 2–4 years of experience in a corporate environment.
- Experience supporting events, communications, and/or employee engagement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Strong written communication and storytelling skills.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail.
- Creative problem solver with the ability to generate engaging ideas and content.
- Proficiency in social media content development and engagement strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
Work Environment
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an at home and office environment.
The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors. It is uncommon to hire candidates at or near the top of the range.
