Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team!
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of U.S. employment laws, and the ability to manage a wide range of HR functions. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with regulations, administering benefits, supporting employee relations, and executing HR policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Compliance and Recordkeeping:- Ensure compliance with U.S. employment laws and regulations including FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, AAP, OSHA, and HIPAA.
- Manage regulatory reporting and recordkeeping, including EEO-1, VETS 4212, and ACA compliance.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, run screenings, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Maintain onboarding documents and process.
- Conduct exit interviews for departing employees, gathering feedback to improve retention strategies.
- Review applications, source and screen candidates, partner with staffing agencies, partner with hiring managers, facilitate the offer process.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including handling qualifying events and managing annual open enrollments.
- Assist with less complex employee relations matters, providing support and guidance to employees and managers.
- Adapt, implement, and execute Indra Group HR policies in line with local requirements and company goals.
- Assist in the administration of performance management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Support the implementation of training plans, talent development initiatives, and retention strategies.
- Act as a backup for the HR Director and HR Generalist in their absence.
Qualifications:
4+ years of HR Generalist experience.
ADP Workforce Now experience.
High-quantity onboarding and orientation presentation experience required
Manufacturing or similar HR industry experience required
Talent acquisition experience required
Strong working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including U.S. employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, AAP, OSHA, HIPAA).
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
