Job Title: Quality Control Training Manager
Department: Service Contracts
Reports To: VP of Service Contracts
FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary: 
Responsible for ensuring a consistent level of performance across all contracts, through training and assessments based on standards defined in the Scope of Work and the customer’s expectations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work under the direction of the Quality Control/Training Manager and in conjunction with the Division Operations Manager, scheduling contract site visits to ensure that all employees are adequately trained in the safest manner to perform job procedures. Contribute to the review of procedures/work instructions.

Ensure division employees receive all required training, including, but not limited to, orientation, ongoing, and annual. Follow up when training is not completed. Maintain training records.

Maintain the training database and provide periodic reports to supervisors and managers. 

Assist supervisors and managers with training needs identified by the account or through the Corrective Action/Preventive Action program.

Support Goodwill’s Safety Program by distributing and collecting monthly safety training.

Assist Quality Control/Training Manager with the development and maintenance of other elements of the Service Contracts’ Quality Management System as required. 

Manage inventory records for all accounts using CompuClean.

As needed, manage equipment maintenance and repair records using CompuClean. 

Maintain a resource library of MSDS, training materials, videos, audio tapes, and forms related to the building maintenance industry. Keep an index.

Practical working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, is required. Correspondence, reports, and memos, as well as detailed spreadsheets involving training, will be required.

Other duties may be assigned by the Quality Control/Training Manager, ensuring that employees are adequately trained in the safest and most effective job procedures.

Education and Experience:
A BA degree in business or a related field is required, but on-the-job experience will be considered. Training experience preferred.

This position requires a high level of communication skills, including training line workers, supervisors, and managers, as well as maintaining a positive relationship with customers. Strict attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy is required for the collection and maintenance of data acquired by the person in this position.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations:
Valid State of Florida Driver’s License and a clean driving record.

Other Skills and Abilities:
Read, write, and communicate effectively in English, Spanish, is a plus, but not required. Strong math aptitude essential.
