Acadian Companies is seeking a full-time Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in Monroe, LA.
JOB SUMMARY: Seek and analyze fleet efficiencies while working closely with Operations to assist in finding lean operating methodologies related to inventory and vehicle warranties.

- Requires working knowledge as a mechanic and is expected to physically work on units as needed for mission needs
- Analyze, manage, and seek continuous improvement in inventory levels of assigned area shop(s)
- Schedule and manage quarterly and end-of-year inventory count
- Directly handle all warranty claims on both parts and labor of all company vehicles
- Seek and analyze Fleet efficiencies while working closely with Operations to assist in finding lean operating methodologies
- Work with the Manager of Fleet Maintenance to ensure quality of work, eliminate downtime, and analyze opportunities to reduce costs
- Design and produce measurable in order to gauge assigned area's progress; and to optimize efficiencies
- Directly handle the approval and processing of all Fleet invoices and entry into appropriate systems
- Establish and maintain positive relationships and ongoing communication with all approved Fleet vendors
- Assist the Manager in researching and establishing new Fleet vendors
- Provide leadership and supervision to Fleet employees, to include recommendations regarding employment (hiring and termination), compensation, performance reviews and merit pay decisions, coaching/counseling, training, and employee satisfaction.
- Work with the Senior Director, Director, Managers, and Maintenance Supervisors to achieve organizational and departmental goals
- Respond to and resolve vendor inquiries and problems
- Prepare reports and proposals for Administration
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two year's college education required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in an applicable field preferred.
- Credible background in operations and management
- Current valid driver's license
- Ability to travel to satellite locations for up to 5 days at a time
- Ability to master supporting software programs, including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyze, identify, and communicate essential operational information to maximize operational and financial efficiencies
- Understanding of automotive and maintenance processes is well regarded, but not essential
