Position Overview
WFOX Jacksonville TV is accepting applications for a Full-Time Master Control Switcher.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Quality Control of all content being processed through Master Control systems
- Managing On-Air and Commercial Breaks and Content
- Maintaining On-Air Logs
- Recording multiple feeds from various sources
- Monitoring transmitters
- Complying with all FCC and EAS Regulations
- Complete multiple tasks accurately and within established deadlines
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in television Master Control Operations a plus
- References must be provided in writing
- Knowledge of Video Operations
- Proficient in computers and accurate data entry
- Working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of video servers and automation systems within a Television environment
- Ability to plan ahead, troubleshoot and adapt to change with ease
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work flexible shifts to cover vacation/sick time
- Ability to work overtime if necessary
- Excellent organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of broadcasting radio or TV experience preferred
