Job Description
Job Purpose:
- The Starbucks Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in leading the store team during shifts to deliver legendary customer service and ensure smooth operations. This position is responsible for executing store operations, providing guidance, and fostering a positive environment for both partners and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage and oversee store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in training new partners and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing team members.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders as needed and manage stock to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Support the Store Manager in executing marketing promotions and store events.
- Prepare shift reports and communicate effectively with management regarding store performance and any issues.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration among partners.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
