LM Restaurants is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accounting Supervisor to oversee core accounting operations and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting across the organization. They will play a key role in strengthening internal controls, improving efficiencies, and supporting leadership with reliable financial insights.

What You’ll Do
- Support general ledger activity by reviewing account balances, transactions, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end and period-end close activities.
- Maintain and update fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation schedules.
- Research and help resolve variances and discrepancies, ensuring proper documentation and support for adjustments.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, helping ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Support preparation and review of financial statements and related reporting schedules.
- Prepare routine financial reports and provide summarized results to leadership as needed.
- Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, errors, and opportunities for improvement.
- Supervise and support two Accounting Specialists, including workflow coordination, task assignment, and day-to-day guidance.
- Support audit requests, tax documentation preparation, and participate in process improvement initiatives across accounting functions.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in multi-unit, hospitality, retail, or similar environments
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed asset accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to identify issues, investigate variances, and drive resolution
- Experience supporting audits and compliance processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate financial data into clear insights
- Ability to work independently while also supporting and developing team members
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
