About the Role: To deliver high-quality HR operational support across the employee lifecycle while progressively building capability in HR process ownership, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement. This position is offered on a 2-year contract basis. What you will be doing: HR Operations Process Delivery Manage and execute end-to-end HR processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and Singapore employment regulations Take ownership of key HR processes (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, work passes, benefits administration), ensuring clear documentation and consistency in delivery Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems, with strong attention to detail Support payroll-related processes including leave tracking, benefits administration, and reconciliation Safer Recruitment Onboarding Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communication, reference checks, and offer preparation Deliver a structured and positive onboarding experience, including documentation, orientation coordination, and probation tracking Identify and implement improvements to recruitment and onboarding processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience Ensure recruitment practices are aligned with safer recruitment principles in an education setting, including rigorous pre-employment checks, safeguarding compliance, and adherence to Cognita and statutory requirements Employee Support Communication Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing clear, accurate, and professional guidance to staff Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across academic and operations teams Communicate HR processes, policies, and updates in a consistent and user-friendly manner Compliance Governance Support work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations in line with MOM requirements Ensure HR practices are aligned with employment legislation and internal policies Support audits and reporting requirements through proper documentation and data accuracy Continuous Improvement Projects Proactively identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and workflows Support HR initiatives and projects (e.g., engagement, training, system enhancements) Contribute to documentation, standardisation, and optimisation of HR procedures Who we are looking for: 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a fast-paced or service-oriented environment Strong process orientation with the ability to manage tasks systematically and accurately Demonstrated ability to handle HR transactions independently while escalating appropriately when required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently across all staff levels Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), with good data handling capability This role is suitable for individuals who: Demonstrate a growth mindset and willingness to learn and take on increasing ownership Show initiative in improving processes rather than simply executing tasks Are comfortable working in a structured yet evolving environment Aspire to develop into a role with broader responsibility and decision-making scope Benefits at Cognita: Competitive salary depending upon qualifications and experience Free parking on site (subject to availability) How to Apply: Complete this application before the closing date.
