Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Prescribe psychiatric mediations and provide medication evaluations and medication management; provide for the medical supervision, including psychotherapy, of patients and clients at Blue Ridge Health. Responsibilities include: - Conduct psychiatric evaluations. - Documents each patient encounter in the patient record, clearly and concisely, on the day the patient encounter takes place. Ensures that notes are cosigned in a timely fashion according to State of North Carolina regulations and/or BRCHS policy. - Follows patient protocols as specified by BRCHS clinical policies.
