SUMMARY Responsible for providing a wide variety of support services locally to promote the company's product portfolio via the telephone, in-person appointments and internet to support the Company's reputation of excellence and to increase company revenue.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Consult and educate on one product line in person, over the phone and through email to identify customers’ needs in the Resident StateQuote and educate customers on company products and servicesEnsure confidentiality and control access to sensitive informationUpdate and maintain customer interactions and data by recording detailed notes in the CRM in accordance with policies and proceduresAssist customers by enrolling in both on and off-exchange policiesDeliver sales presentations to educate, inform and provide solutions to potential customersCommunicate with consumers regularly regarding product information, rate changes and key benefitsAssist with special projects/assignments as requested by members of managementQUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCEHigh School DiplomaBachelor's Degree in marketing or a related fieldTwo (2) or more years general insurance industry or related field (financial services, marketing, web-based business, business-to-business customer service or call center) experienceAccident/Life/Health Insurance licenses in Resident State upon hire or obtain within 30 days of date of hireSKILLSWorking knowledge of insurance services industries and specific current knowledge of productSkill in the use of office equipment including computer, fax, printer, telephone system, etc.Skill in the use of time management and organization skillsSkill in maintaining effective working relationships with all customers, employees and the general publicProficient computer skills (Microsoft/Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, MS Outlook software preferred)Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in a constructive mannerAbility to work independently, exercise independent judgment, make and execute decisionsAbility to be a self starter, motivated and accomplish goals and tasks within a given time frameAbility to approach and communicate with a wide range of personalities in a professional and courteous mannerAbility to be patient under frustrating circumstances and demonstrate controlled emotional affect in difficult situations#LI-GS1
