Role Overview

The Data Center Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the stability and reliability of 24/7 data center operations. This role leads a team of operators/analysts, manages incident response, and ensures adherence to operational processes and service levels in a global environment.

Responsibilities

Operations & Service Continuity

  • Ensure continuous, 24/7 operation of data center services and infrastructure
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity
  • Lead incident management, including escalation and resolution of major incidents
  • Coordinate actions during critical outages to minimize business impact

Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage a team of Data Center Operators / Analysts
  • Plan team schedules (including shift coverage where applicable)
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Support professional development and technical skill growth of team members

Process & Quality Management

  • Ensure compliance with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
  • Monitor and report operational KPIs (e.g., SLA adherence, uptime, MTTR)
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality
  • Maintain documentation, procedures, and operational standards

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with global IT teams (Infrastructure, Applications, Security)
  • Coordinate with vendors and external service providers
  • Provide regular reporting to management on operational performance
  • Act as a key contact point for escalations and operational issues

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations / data center environment
  • 1–3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Experience in 24/7 operational environment is preferred

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of Data Center Operations and infrastructure (servers, networks, storage)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., enterprise monitoring platforms)
  • Understanding of Windows/Linux environments
  • Familiarity with ITIL or IT Service Management processes

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage critical incidents
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Problem-solving mindset and strong decision-making ability

This information reflects Brightstar Lottery’s good-faith estimate of compensation for this position at the time of publication. Actual compensation will be determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and internal compensation policies. Factors that we consider include, but are not limited to, role, career level, performance, skills, level of expertise, experience, location, market competitiveness, and internal equity. The estimated starting compensation range is 59,554 zł – 85,077 zł. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

This position is governed by collective bargaining agreement, which regulates the main terms and conditions of employment, including minimum salary levels, classification, working hours, leave, and other employment rights.
