Job Description
Experience
- 5 years of experience in compliance or related field
- Previous healthcare experience
- Experience implementing a healthcare Compliance Program, including leading large-scale initiatives, development of compliance audit plans, and handling confidential investigations
Preferred Qualifications
- CHC, CCEP or CHPC certification
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration or related field
Certification Summary
- No professional certifications required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance with detailed understanding of State and Federal laws and regulations, and healthcare finance risks
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence across organization boundaries
Job Responsibilities
- Leads Compliance initiatives.
- Provides subject matter expertise to assigned focus areas (e.g., Sibley, physician practices, ambulatory sites, Arthur M. Blank, Scottish Rite, Hughes Spalding, Marcus).
- Conducts investigations.
- Provides specialized education and training.
- Performs risk-based compliance reviews and risk assessments at the direction of Compliance leadership.
- Establishes Compliance Audit schedule for assigned locations.
- Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. e.g., monthly rounding and serving on appropriate committees to provide compliance support to operations. Prepare and present monthly compliance reports identifying and tracking all compliance issues, concerns, and initiatives.
