JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
WORK SHIFT: (M-F) 8am - 4:30pm
JOB SUMMARY:
AVP to provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for patient access and billing services across the system. Responsible for direct focus on improvement of the evolving healthcare revenue cycle with dedicated focus on accuracy, streamlining processes, customer access, education and overall process improvement. Position will monitor and implement processes to assist with denial reduction initiatives, improving access, improving cash collections and developing innovative financial assistance programs. Focus on us of digital technology and automation to assist with transforming the revenue cycle.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 5 years of relevant healthcare experience in the Revenue Cycle with specific focus in Patient Access.
Minimum of 5 years of management/supervisory experience.
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree in Health Services Administration, or Business Administration preferred.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience with EPIC required.
Ability to establish and build strong relationships with providers, staff, team members, and partner subject matter experts (SMEs)
Very strong project and program management skills; demonstrated track record leading cross-functional initiatives
Advanced critical thinking, logic, and problem-solving skills including the ability to rationalize complex, multi-faceted problems into smaller, manageable issues
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting up to 10 pounds is required.
