Job Summary
As a member of our growing Technical Service Training team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical training to customers, distributors, and business partners around the world. Based primarily out of our new ExpertCare Training Center in Rolling Meadows, IL, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for ZOLL's ventilator product portfolio. As business needs require, you will also support training on aspirators, defibrillators, and other products within the Acute Care Technology (ACT) portfolio. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to help others succeed by providing instruction on product operation, hardware and software functionality, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance procedures. Whether teaching in the classroom, facilitating hands-on learning experiences, or working directly with customers and colleagues, you will have a direct impact on the quality and effectiveness of our global service organization. In addition, you will develop and deliver customized domestic and international training programs based on evolving business needs. Essential Functions
- Deliver hands –on and virtual (web-based, instructor-led) training directly to biomedical engineers and technicians on ZOLL's line of ventilators, aspirators, defibrillators and other products within the Acute Care Technology portfolio.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for certifying others in the areas of device operation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair (BPs, ASPs, ZOLL technicians, trade shows, webinars etc.).
- Create courseware content using online LMS tools, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and using available graphics and multimedia software.
- Act as a key resource for ZOLL technical support and troubleshooting teams.
- Revise training curriculum and methods as needed to improve effectiveness.
- Work with video production and E-learning developers to assist in creating new training content for various distribution channels.
- Manage technical training equipment and tools inventory to ensure logistical needs are met to support ZOLL training programs.
- Attend cross-functional meetings as a representative of the service technical training team
- Train new hires, assess and certify new trainers domestically and internationally
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree In related field (strongly preferred)
- 2 Years' experience as a technical trainer, service technician or relevant experience (preferred)
- Prior experience with mechanical ventilators either as a technician or respiratory therapist (preferred)
- Prior experience delivering instructor-led and virtual content, and hands-on technical training to customers, public audiences, and internal teams (preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Background in electronics or clinical/biomedical engineering.
- Knowledge of modern training tools and course development software. Excellent documentation, communication and time management skills.
- Experience with technical writing and classroom instruction.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role as a technical expert.

- Up to 50% Travel required
