Advanced Flow Systems is looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Calgary, AB.

The Role:
The Quality Control Inspector provides support in bringing quality; engineering and safety system support to the Quality Manager for the Calgary location and plays a key role in ensuring the company effectively and efficiently delivers quality on-time products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete all applicable quality records
- Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records
- Conduct and report on inspection and testing to conform to industry standards and customer
- Specifications
- Receive purchased products and verify against purchase order requirements
- Receive customer-supplied products and verify against customer requirements
- Complete in-process inspections as required
- Complete final inspections as required
- Work in accordance with the quality management system
What You Bring:
- Post-secondary education in mechanical or engineering technology is considered an asset
- Experience with receiving, shipping, inspection and testing, traceability, nonconformances, corrective and preventive action, document control, record control.
- Minimum 2 years of computer experience
- 3 months’ experience with bending processes, materials knowledge, shop procedures
- Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time and handle heavy parts
- Must be competent with mathematical and geometrical calculations
