Senior Test Engineer The Senior Test Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting test solutions for electronic assemblies and products in a contract manufacturing environment. This role supports new product introduction (NPI), production testing, troubleshooting, yield improvement, and continuous process improvement to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Our Facility in Appleton, WI manufactures state-of-the-art circuit boards for Aerospace and Defense as well as Industrial and Medical Industries. Standard Essential Functions Develop and maintain functional, in-circuit, and system-level test solutions for electronic products. Support NPI activities, including test strategy development, fixture design, and process validation. Troubleshoot test equipment, software, fixtures, and product failures to minimize production downtime. Analyze test yields and failure data, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and customers to resolve technical issues and improve product performance. Develop and maintain test documentation, procedures, and work instructions. Ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable quality standards. Mentor test technicians and junior engineers and provide technical leadership on improvement projects. Maintain necessary records Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area. Performs other assignments as required
