Job Description
Job Title: Deputy Director of Capital Planning
Department: Capital Planning
Reports To: Director of Capital Planning
FLSA: Exempt
Grade: 17
POSITION SUMMARY:
Partner with the Director of Capital Planning to manage a multi-billion-dollar capital grant program for public school construction by aligning the MSBA’s long-term capital outlook with available resources including project grants, department budgets, and staffing. The Deputy Director of Capital Planning manages business processes and assigned staff to ensure execution of the Department’s vendor contracts and project conformance with MSBA’s policies and procedures.
The Deputy Director of Capital Planning works in conjunction with the Director of Capital Planning to manage the Directors within Capital Planning and supports the Director of Capital Planning in the day-to-day operations of the Capital Planning Department and the overall management of the Core and Accelerated Repair Programs.
