Job Description

Event & Sales Coordinator 

Support the Sales & Events team by coordinating all stages of events and ensuring exceptional service before, during, and after each event. Prepare event documentation, communicate with clients, maximize revenue opportunities, and collaborate with hotel departments to deliver memorable experiences while maintaining Marriott standards.

What You’ll Do

Event Coordination & Sales

  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and event documentation.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Banqueting, Food & Beverage, and Marketing teams.
  • Manage local corporate and social catering events.
  • Conduct pre- and post-event meetings and ensure smooth event execution.
  • Maximize revenue through upselling and creative food and beverage solutions.
  • Ensure billing accuracy and resolve operational challenges.

Client & Guest Relations

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients via phone and email.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and anticipate guest needs.
  • Deliver professional, personalized service and build strong relationships.
  • Welcome guests warmly and provide a memorable experience.

Communication & Teamwork

  • Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and departments.
  • Prepare and proofread reports, correspondence, and other documents.
  • Communicate professionally and provide support to achieve common goals.

Policies & Standards

  • Maintain confidentiality and protect guest privacy.
  • Follow company policies, quality standards, and grooming requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Sales & Events, administrative support, or a related hospitality field.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
