PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Crude Oil Originator/Trader to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our location in Calgary, Canada.
Responsible for procuring North American Crude for the refineries. Establish relationships with the entire trading/marketing and logistics network. Responsible for developing and executing supply strategies in coordination with the Team leader.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executes purchase and sale transactions for Canadian and U.S. Domestic crude oil.
Pursue new business opportunities and logistics for crude via pipeline, rail and truck
Manage relationships within the existing supply chain.
Manages daily position and inventory targets.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Designation or Business Equivalent.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the Canadian and/or U.S. Domestic oil marketing and logistics field.
Must have experience and knowledge of the North American crude oil market price structure, settlement process, and industry standards.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Extensive pipeline scheduling/logistics experience is considered an asset
This position is on site 5 days a week.
