Storeperson

As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for providing an outstanding service to customers within our Smeaton Grange branch, including over-the-counter sales and phone sales, as well as assisting with warehouse functions as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Credit Department about customer accounts.
• Order entry – multiple types including Quotes, OTC, Standard, No Charge, Samples, and Returns.
• Pack, label & assemble orders for delivery.
• Unpack, check & put away replenishment products as required.
• Support customer requests for products or information relating to products as required.
• Solve customer problems including sourcing expert advice from within PPG as needed.
• Orders packed & made ready for despatch to customers on time.
• Process orders and collate appropriate paperwork.
• Process over-the-counter customer sales and service.
• Cash sales reconciliation including daily banking procedures.
• Occasional paint mixing.
• Compliance with all PPG policies and EH&S procedures.

Requirements

• Customer Service experience in a trade environment is required.
• General warehousing skills.
• A forklift license is preferred but not required.
• Permanent Working Rights in Australia is a must.
