Fully Remote or Hybrid if Local – Buffalo, NYMoog’s Corporate Group is looking for an Integration Architect to join our Information Technology Team!
As the Integration Architect, you will lead the design, standardization, and governance of enterprise integration solutions that enable scalable, secure, and reliable system connectivity across the organization. You will partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT teams to architect and guide integrations supporting:
Digital Thread & Model-Based Engineering (MBE)
PLM / CAD / MES / ERP ecosystems
Enterprise Integration & API ecosystems
Event-driven and real-time data architectures
Cloud and hybrid integration platforms
Application modernization and rationalization efforts
You will combine deep technical expertise, systems thinking, and strong business alignment to deliver integration architectures that are scalable, reusable, and aligned to enterprise strategy.
Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area, be willing to relocate to work on-site, or be willing to travel to our East Aurora site frequently throughout the year.
To qualify for the Integration Architect role, here is what we would expect you to bring to Moog…
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience
Over eight (8) years of experience in integration architecture or senior technical roles
Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other complex/regulated industries preferred
Hands-on experience with:
Integration platforms (eQube, MuleSoft, Informatica, Kafka, Talend, or similar)
API-led and event-driven architecture patterns
ERP (SAP, Oracle) and enterprise system integrations
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid architectures
Technical expertise in:
Enterprise integration patterns (API-led, messaging, streaming, batch)
Distributed systems design and scalability considerations
Data integration and orchestration across complex ecosystems
Security and compliance considerations for integrations (NIST, zero-trust principles)
DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Architecture frameworks (TOGAF or equivalent preferred)
As the Integration Architect, you will…
Define and promote enterprise integration architecture, standards, and best practices
Develop reusable integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, batch, streaming)
Guide teams in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable integrations
Support Digital Thread initiatives by enabling end-to-end system connectivity
Architect data flows across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality systems
Enable traceability across systems (requirements → design → production → service)
Partner with enterprise architecture to align integration strategy with long-term technology direction
Support application rationalization and modernization efforts
Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) and ensure integration standards adherence
Evaluate integration tools and platforms to reduce redundancy and improve efficiency
Provide technical guidance and oversight during implementation
Collaborate with Product Owners, Program Managers, and Engineering leaders to align integration solutions with business outcomes
Identify and mitigate integration risks across systems and platforms
Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $140,000.00–$175,000.00 AnnuallySalary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
