About the role: 

Retail Solution Specialist

Reporting to the Solution Delivery Manager, this role is responsible for the delivery, enhancement, and support of retail technology solutions across Lindt Australia and selected APAC subsidiaries. The position focuses on Point-of-Sale (POS), retail applications, SAP integration, and business-critical interfaces to ensure stable operations and strong user experience. 

You will work closely with business stakeholders, international IT teams, and vendors to support both day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support delivery, enhancement, and optimisation of retail solutions aligned to business needs 

  • Provide support across POS systems, retail applications, SAP processes, and integration interfaces 

  • Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate vendor escalations 

  • Support testing, releases, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities 

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive improvements 

  • Deliver or support projects from planning through to post-go-live support 

  • Provide application support and contribute to service desk operations 

  • Maintain communication during incidents, outages, and system changes 

 

What You Will Bring 

  • Experience supporting POS, retail, SAP, or enterprise applications 

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across applications and integrations 

  • Understanding of SAP SD / S/4 Retail and POS integration 

  • Experience in incident management, testing, and change deployments 

  • Ability to work with business stakeholders and external vendors 

  • Strong communication and documentation skills 

 

Desirable

  • Exposure to Fiori, ServiceNow, or retail hardware 

  • Experience supporting end-to-end retail systems 

  • SAP SD or S/4 Retail certification 

  • Japanese language skills (conversational or above)
