DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Business Development Manager to join our team in Bosnia and Herzegovina as soon as possible. The role will be based in Sarajevo or Banja Luka and will require regular office presence, five days per week.
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing customer and partner relationships, and increasing sales across the local market. You will work closely with leading cybersecurity and data center vendors and play an active role in driving growth across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This role will report to the Country Manager.
As the Business Development Manager you will:
- Identify new business opportunities, including sales of new and existing technology solutions within the Exclusive Networks portfolio, such as HPE, Palo Alto Networks, F5, Fortinet, Huawei, and other strategic vendors
- Generate leads, develop prospective customers, and actively grow the customer and partner base across Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, reseller partners, vendors, and key stakeholders, including sectors such as banking and enterprise
- Prepare business development strategies, customer relationship plans, and market development activities
- Manage the sales pipeline and prepare sales forecasts, reports, and business analysis
- Represent Exclusive Networks in customer meetings, partner meetings, vendor discussions, and local market activities
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Business Development Manager:
- Has previous experience in business development, sales, account management, or a similar commercial role within the ICT industry
- Understands the local Bosnia and Herzegovina market and is confident working with customers, partners, and vendors
- Is extroverted, open-minded, proactive, and comfortable in face-to-face meetings
- Has strong communication, presentation, organization, and negotiation skills
- Is willing to work independently within a multinational environment and takes a hands-on, responsible approach
- Speaks Bosnian and English fluently
- Holds an active driver’s license, category B
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrotechnics, IT, Traffic, Engineering, Economy, Management, or a related field
- ICT training, education certificates, or sales certificates for ICT solutions
- Experience with cybersecurity, data center solutions, software markets, or vendor management
