Job Description
Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Make beds, replace linens, and replenish guest room supplies
- Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and missing items
- Report any damages, safety concerns, or maintenance needs to management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and equipment
- Follow proper procedures for handling guest belongings and lost & found items
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests when responding to requests
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies
- Complete assigned rooms within established productivity standards
- Support other areas of the Housekeeping Department, including public areas, laundry, linen room, and other assigned tasks when needed
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push/pull for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 lbs. as needed
- Must have a positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
