The Role:
Our EV Volumes (EVV) Content team is responsible for the research, procurement, collection, analysis and presentation of our EV data and the updates to our vast database. The Analyst is supporting the ongoing collection, maintenance, and quality control of relevant global EV data using our proprietary systems and databases. The Data Analyst works closely with the Data Managers to carry out the activities necessary to deliver the data used by our customer.
Responsibilities:
Manage the current sources of data, ensuring the timely receipt of data deliveries. Transform the data into a consistent format, capturing it within our databases in a timely manner to meet publication deadlines. Verify the accuracy of reports and assist in correcting any inaccuracies in the data.
Analyse, understand, communicate and support the resolution of data-related issues as they arise.
Finalize and deliver datasets, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity. Guarantee all publication deadlines are met through quality control and efficient data processing.
Develop and automate data production processes using additional tools. Creating scripts to improve data collection, quality assurance and processing efficiency.
Conduct market research and analysis, on all EV related topics, e.g. worldwide electrification trends, OEM and cell-supplier plans and future models.
Support the documentation & improvement of content processes at EVV.
Cooperate in quality checking the data to ensure the highest integrity and data standards are met, identifying and correcting errors prior to publication.
Support and train new colleagues in EVV data production processes.
Support on projects or assist with other activities, as needed by the Senior Managers or Executive Management team.
What You’ll Be Doing in This Role:
We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Statistics/Mathematics, or an equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience. The ideal profile will have strong technical capabilities, including advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query and macros), advanced Python for data cleaning, automation and scripting, as well as intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL or database querying. Experience with BI tools such as Tableau at an intermediate level is also required.
A solid understanding of the automotive industry, particularly EV market developments, would be highly advantageous. We are seeking someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a highly numerate mindset, and the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable insights. Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential, with the ability to consistently meet tight deadlines.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, along with strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and in a structured way.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly accurate, proactive, self-motivated, and driven by a continuous improvement mindset.
