Beacon is a successful and national behavioral health company providing residential-based services and supports to children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Severe Mental Illness, Autism, and high-acuity behaviors. The Quality Specialist supports Quality Department functions across assigned programs, including group homes, day programs, and supported living settings. This role partners closely with operations to promote compliance and improve performance outcomes in alignment with the organization’s Quality Management (QM) Plan and applicable state regulations. Through audits, data analysis, and certified investigations, the Quality Analysis helps identify risks, address performance gaps, and ensure adherence to regulatory, accreditation, and internal standards.
Responsibilities include:
Supports implementation and monitoring of the organizations' Quality Management (QM) Plan, including tracking key performance indicators and quality outcomes.
Participates in Quality Assurance and Improvement (QA&I) activities, including data collection, analysis, reporting to identify trends and risks, and collaboration with external stakeholders.
Uses performance data and analytics to evaluate program effectiveness and support operational decision-making.
Conducts or supports certified investigations, including interviews, documentation review, evidence gathering, and final report preparation.
Participates in root cause analysis and develops actional recommendations.
Monitors corrective action plans resulting from audits, investigations, and performance concerns.
Tracks and analyzes incident and investigation trends to identify systemic issues and opportunities for improvement.
Assists with preparation for regulatory review, external audits, and accreditation surveys.
Qualifications:
ODP Certified Investigator certification preferred
ODP Quality Management certification
