Position Summary
This First-Level Manager role leads a team focused on strengthening Supply Chain customer relationships and supporting logistics execution. The position is responsible for building trusted partnerships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers through effective communication, event planning, and proactive coordination. The role helps ensure reliable material flow, responsive issue resolution, and strong alignment across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team supporting supplier relations, customer engagement, and logistics coordination.

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers, internal customers, and cross-functional partners.

  • Plan and support Supply Chain & Fabrication events, site visits, forums, and other engagement activities.

  • Coordinate logistics activities to support delivery performance, material flow, and issue resolution.

  • Partner with procurement, planning, operations, quality, engineering, and program teams to align priorities.

  • Monitor performance, identify risks, and drive actions to improve service, responsiveness, and reliability.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.

  • Coach, develop, and support team members in achieving operational and professional goals.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-5 years Experience in supply chain, Customer Relations, Logistics, Supplier Management, or Customer-Facing operations.

  • 3-5 years Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills

  • 3-5 years Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations, or related field.

  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or other complex supply chain environments.

  • Experience planning events, supplier forums, customer visits, or engagement activities.

  • Familiarity with logistics systems, supplier performance metrics, and continuous improvement methods.

Some travel may be required with this position.

$125,000 - $151,000
