Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and business-oriented AI Transformation Lead to drive AI-enabled business transformation across Thermo Fisher China.
This role is not a technical AI engineering position. Instead, you will serve as the bridge between business and technology, helping business leaders identify high-value AI opportunities, shape transformation roadmaps, lead enterprise-wide AI programs, and accelerate organization-wide AI adoption.
Success in this role requires strong transformation leadership, executive communication, influence without authority, and a genuine passion for how AI can fundamentally change the way people work.
Key Responsibilities
Lead AI Transformation
- Develop and execute the China AI transformation roadmap aligned with business priorities and company strategy.
- Identify high-value AI opportunities across commercial, customer service, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and corporate functions.
- Translate business challenges into practical AI transformation initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
- Lead large, cross-functional AI transformation initiatives from ideation through deployment and business adoption.
Partner with Business Leaders
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders on AI opportunities and transformation strategies.
- Facilitate AI ideation workshops and business process redesign sessions.
- Help business teams prioritize AI investments based on strategic value, feasibility, and organizational readiness.
Accelerate AI Adoption
- Drive organizational change management to maximize AI adoption and employee engagement.
- Develop AI awareness programs, executive briefings, workshops, and internal success stories.
- Promote an AI-first mindset and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Stay Ahead of AI Innovation
- Continuously monitor emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and market best practices.
- Evaluate new AI capabilities and recommend how they can create business value.
- Collaborate with Global Digital and local business teams to bring innovative AI solutions into the organization.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience leading enterprise transformation, digital transformation, strategic consulting, or large cross-functional programs.
- Demonstrated success leading complex transformation initiatives involving multiple business functions and executive stakeholders.
- Outstanding presentation, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working effectively in matrix organizations.
- Good understanding of enterprise AI, Generative AI, AI agents, automation, and current AI technology trends.
- Passion for AI and a strong belief in its ability to transform business processes, employee productivity, and customer experience.
Preferred
- Experience in management consulting or business transformation consulting.
- Experience working with AI use cases such as Generative AI, intelligent automation, knowledge management, analytics, or decision intelligence.
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries.

- Idendify and start 2 to 3 significant organizational impact use cases
- Build strong executive engagement and sponsorship for AI transformation.
- Increase AI adoption across business functions through effective change management.
- Foster an AI-first culture where employees actively embrace AI to improve productivity and innovation.
