As a Customer Support Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience and insights into the daily responsibilities of engineers working in the semiconductor industry. This internship offers the opportunity to learn how complex inspection and metrology systems are maintained and supported in real-world settings.
During your internship, you will
- perform preventive and corrective maintenance on highly complex semiconductor capital equipment.
- support troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of KLA equipment.
- coordinate actions with customers to ensure minimal impact on production.
- conduct log file analysis to identify potential systematic issues.
- propose and implement improvement ideas, including creating a structured project plan.

- compensation €1,500 gross monthly.

Minimum Qualifications
- current enrollment at the university in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
- motivation to solve technical problems.
- ability to understand and adapt to complex technical processes.
- fluent communication skills in English, German is an advantage.
- strong sense of responsibility and collaborative mindset.
