Summary
: Ready for a change? We’re looking for compassionate, responsible, and adaptable Travel CNAs to join The Good Samaritan Society’s Rapid Response Team who can provide care to assigned residents in a caring, safe, and efficient manner. This position comes with premium compensation starting at $24.50 / hour, guaranteed full-time hours, and a comprehensive benefits package. On top of that, we cover your costs associated with travel, lodging, and food. If you love travel, we offer short-term assignments that vary from 2-4 weeks and employees are given 24 - 48 hours notice of their next assignment. The Certified Nursing Assistant will be expected to travel 100% of the time on the job. Must be willing and able to work in COVID positive environments and traveling to different states across the Good Samaritan Society footprint.Job Description
Provide assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities; bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, meal preparation and dining needs, emotional and spiritual needs. Administer delegated tasks and treatments. Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
Will collect non-invasive biological specimens from patients as needed. Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare. Prepare patient treatment areas for use; prepare and clean medical equipment; dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy. Clean patient living areas or treatment rooms.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific
competencies and certifications.
If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry upon completion of training/competency validation or a maximum of four months from the date of initial employment.
