The Impact of a Sr. Account Director, Enterprise Growth at Coupa:
A Coupa Account Executive, Customer Growth, is a sales professional focused on expanding Coupa's footprint within existing customer accounts, primarily in the mid-market segment. They work to increase revenue by identifying and closing cross-sell opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and understanding their business needs. They also play a key role in contract renewals and ensuring customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
- Building Relationships:
- Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations is crucial for understanding their needs and facilitating sales.
- Understanding Customer Needs:
- Account Executives need to deeply understand the customer's business objectives and challenges to effectively position Coupa's solutions.
- Collaborating Internally:
- They work closely with other teams like Customer Value Managers (CVMs) and pre-sales teams to ensure a smooth sales process and deliver value to the customer.
- Managing Renewals:
- They are responsible for securing contract renewals and ensuring the continued value of Coupa's platform.
- Meeting/Exceeding Quotas:
- Account Executives are typically responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue targets within their assigned accounts
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- 3 – 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, ideally in SaaS, with a strong track record of growing existing accounts and managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Skilled in identifying customer pain points and crafting compelling, value-driven solutions that align with business outcomes.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-focused mindset with keen attention to detail.
- Brings creativity and fresh ideas to challenge the status quo with innovative Spend Management solutions, including Coupa Pay and Supply Chain.
- Domain knowledge in Spend Management is a plus.
The estimated pay range for this role is $190,000 - 200,000 + eligibility for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50
The starting salary for the successful candidate will be based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
