
Overnight Security Officer
Job Description
Overview Security is in a Shared Tip Pool and will receive an average of an additional $3 - $5 per hour in Tips on their paycheck. Sign-On Bonus 100 after 30 days 250 after 60 days 400 after 90 days The Overnight Security Officer protects the assets of the casino, as directed, and responds promptly to requests for security assistance. Performs duties in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. Provides exceptional guest service. Responsibilities Protects the assets of the casino, as directed and response promptly to requests from guests and staff for security assistance. Follows established security protocols to ensure that casino work environments are safe. Receives technical direction and guidance from Security Lead. Develops and maintains effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all customers and employees. Investigates incidents by asking questions, takes and analyzes statements, secures and reports evidence, as directed and, makes and accurate record of all investigations. Escorts the transfers of money/assets throughout the casino on a frequent basis during a shift and, when required, assists by lifting or carrying money/assets to designated locations. Monitors transfers and reports and concerns to supervisor. Patrols property, as directed, including Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, Gold King Mountain Inn, Gas N’ Roll, customer vehicles, shuttles and to ensure for the safety and security of guests and staff and for compliance to casino security policies and procedures. Reports violations of casino security policies and procedures, as directed. Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities, and prior to taking action, exercises caution and evaluates circumstances for appropriate security or safety response. Seeks supervision and guidance from the Security Lead or Security Supervisor, as needed or directed. Qualifications Must be able to obtain a Colorado Support Gaming License. Pay Range USD $16.00 - USD $16.50 /Hr.
