
Business Development Manager (f/m/d) Tunnel & Bridge
Job Description
Join our Global Expertise Center Infrastructure (GEC‑INF) and contribute to strengthening Doka’s global position in infrastructure with a focus on tunnel and bridge projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- You map out business opportunities and acquire projects with a particular focus on profitability, long-term market penetration, and overall coverage, together with the area/local team
- You identify market drivers & strategies for the tunnel and bridge sector and the respective sub-sectors
- You coordinate and communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders within the organization e.g. country/area sales and engineering teams
- You are proactively involved and accountable in project acquisition and entire project handling
- You develop business through face-to-face contacts and job site visits with customers and stakeholders
- You create and implement processes to support the business growth within the company’s objectives
- Your educational background is in the field of civil or mechanical engineering, construction management etc.
- You have approx. 5 years of experience in the construction of tunnels or bridges (ideally acquired in an international environment), building construction, or formwork engineering
- You have international job site experience in that sector, and you have a very good understanding of project and contract management
- You are a forward-looking person who actively seeks opportunities
- You are a solution-oriented person able to recognize advantages
- You are characterized by a great cultural and international understanding, and you can build up relationships with stakeholders and network/contact consultants within the industry
- You have a strong sales affinity and excellent communication skills as well as good persuasiveness
- You have a high willingness for international travel (approx. 20%)
- You are fluent in verbal and written English, further languages are welcomed

A salary in line with the market is offered for this position, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience.
We are required by law to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is 48.800,- EUR according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry).
