We are looking for a talented Testing Coordinator/Driver you will be responsible for working with the project management team to coordinate durability drivers’ schedules & activities in mileage accumulation projects. This includes travel reservations, labor tracking, scheduling drivers, driver log entry, driver safety training, driver orientations, and route support as well as occasional driving.

We are looking for a talented Testing Coordinator/Driver you will be responsible for working with the project management team to coordinate durability drivers’ schedules & activities in mileage accumulation projects. This includes travel reservations, labor tracking, scheduling drivers, driver log entry, driver safety training, driver orientations, and route support as well as occasional driving.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage customer access to facilities and resources at test site locations such as proving grounds.
- Obtain approvals for test trips from site owner.
- Provide additional assistance to customers as needed.
- Track customer usage at the test site for used resources (track, office, hoist, etc)
- Communicate test project progress with the Engineering Team.
- Manage work assignments for any onsite contract employees.
- Review daily tasks from customer and program coordinator; perform, adapt, and change test plans as needed.
- Submit and send route information and route updates to the drivers as needed using When2Work.
- Track daily labor entries and prepare labor reports to keep accurate information.
- Provide safety training for drivers to ensure that they can drive and park vehicles safely.
- Review driver expenses via credit card and fuel card expenditures to keep a record.
- Support hotel and travel reservations when travel is necessary for drivers.
- Compile and distribute daily driver logs to project manager and project team.
- Schedule vehicle maintenance and vehicle delivery/drop off to LINK and customer locations.
- Maintain driver schedules including requesting additional or replacement drivers as the project dictates.
- Manage driver availability to fill in all necessary shifts.
- Support and/or manage hiring, training, and coordination of current and new durability drivers as required.
- Manage vehicle supplies for customer site locations for drivers to perform their daily driving functions.
- Assist program coordinator with vehicle scans, driver log entry, and route creation as necessary.
- Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
- All other related duties as assigned.
- Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive environment or related field.
- Clean driving record.

- Ability to work well in a team environment on all aspects of test project execution.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service.
- Strong continuous improvement abilities.
- Technical savvy to quickly learn new systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements:
- This position is located in a testing environment and will involve hands-on work. Physical activity will include lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity or standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to speak verbally, and read in English
- Ability to see with corrective lenses
- Ability to hear
- Ability to walk
- Ability to use a computer.
- Able to work evenings and/or weekends as required.
- Able to travel up to 10% domestically.
