🌟 We’re Hiring: Specialised Echocardiographer

Permanent, Full Time

Starting salary £40,000-£42,000 + £3,000 car allowance

Field based across the UK

Are you working towards or interested in starting the BSE Adult accreditation? We're looking for a Specialised Echocardiographer to join our team in this developmental role, providing specialist and high quality echocardiography services whilst studying.

Your role will initially be based in Brighton, with relocation support available if you're based outside the UK. As part of your development, your working location will then vary. You’ll be supported by our training lead and clinical operations team as you work toward achieving your BSE accreditation within your first 6–12 months, after which your salary will increase to reflect your progression.

Part of Acacium Group, Part of Acacium Group, Xyla's clinical care team work with over 80 NHS trusts to deliver a range of clinical services in hospitals, the community or virtually. Our services include diagnostic, acute and virtual services – all of which are designed and delivered by senior NHS consultants and operational staff who ensure that national clinical guidelines and operational best practice guidance are met.

💡 About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Perform and report Transthoracic Echocardiograms in line with BSE guidelines.

  • Take a proactive approach to minimising clinical risk to patients undergoing echo studies, and support Xyla and our customers in the investigation and management of any related clinical incidents.

  • Manage patient administration systems, reporting systems, modalities and PACS systems.

  • Act as a role model to our customers, treating all staff, patients and family with dignity and respect and adhere to local and Xyla policies.

📚 Experience and Qualifications We’re Looking For

  • BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent degree

  • Recognised Echocardiography adult accreditation

  • Experience of scanning and reporting independently
