About the Role

We are looking for a .NET Developer to join our growing team in Canada, supporting high-impact initiatives in Capital Markets and FinTech. You will play a key role in building scalable, resilient, and high-performance distributed systems, working with large data sets and modern engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust distributed applications using modern .NET technologies
Work with large-scale data systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, risk, and technology) to deliver high-quality solutions
Ensure code quality, testing, and maintainability through best practices and standards
Contribute to system architecture and continuously improve engineering approaches
Deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines and competing priorities

Must-Have Qualifications

Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field
7+ years of hands-on programming experience in:
- C#
- Modern .NET (.NET Core, .NET 5/6+)
Proven experience building resilient distributed systems
Strong experience working with large datasets
Demonstrated commitment to clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
Highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively

Nice to Have

Experience in Capital Markets or FinTech environments
Exposure to Risk Systems and/or Pricing Model Integration
Strong interest in large-scale software architecture and system design
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Java / Spring Boot, or willingness to learn
Exposure to Generative AI (Gen AI) technologies or use cases

Work Model

Hybrid work model – mandatory presence in office
Must be based in or able to commute to Toronto or Montreal

Salary Range

85-100k/year
