WATER DISTRIBUTION & MAINTENANCE INSPECTOR

This position monitors and inspects City Rehabilitation efforts in utility construction, renovation and installation projects for compliance with plans, specifications, regulations and standards of quality and safety; responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling preventive maintenance activities within the City of Columbia Water Distribution System; and performs related administrative and technical work as required.   The incumbent works within a general outline of work to be performed, and develops work methods and sequences under general supervision.   The work is considered heavy in nature and involves walking, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, crawling,...
