
Sales Manager - Powder
Job Description
You will drive sustainable sales growth, market share expansion, and profitability within the General Finish (GF) and Home Appliance segments in Vietnam. You will develop strategic plans, identify new business opportunities, manage key customer relationships, and lead commercial activities to strengthen our position as a preferred powder coatings suppliers in the market. You will be reporting directly to Business Manager Vietnam & Philippines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Increase sales growth and market expansion by developing business plans, building a pipeline, and converting new opportunities across the Powder Coatings business.
- Strengthen market position through customer acquisition, market reach, and monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
2. Key Account Management
- Develop relationships with key customers, OEMs, and strategic partners, gaining an understanding of their production processes, quality requirements, and our goals.
- Increase account growth and retention through commercial negotiations, regular customer reviews, and development of long-term account strategies.
3. Sales Performance Management
- Improve achievement of sales targets (volume, revenue, gross margin, and market share) through forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Monitor and optimize sales performance by managing pricing, tracking results, and implementing corrective actions, supported by regular reporting for management review.
4. Project & Opportunity Management
- Guide product specification and project conversion by coordinating customer trials, approvals, and commercialization activities within target segments.
- Manage project and opportunity pipelines using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring execution and understanding of customer requirements.
5. Cross Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Technical Service, R&D, Supply Chain, and Production teams to support product launches, new technology introductions, and market development projects.
- Align demand planning and inventory management to ensure reliable supply, service excellence, and smooth execution of customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 6 - 8 years of sales experience in Powder Coatings, Industrial Coatings, Paints, Chemicals or related industries.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales leadership, business development or key account management roles.
- Track record in market development, customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- One communicates fluently in English, both written and spoken; in Mandarin adds an advantage.
