Job Description
Your challenge
As an Azure Cloud Architect, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud-based solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architectures, DevOps practices, security, scalability, and automation. You interact with development, security, and infrastructure teams to build robust, high-performing, and cost-efficient cloud environments. You work together in close collaboration with our Platform Architects and our Platform Operations team, which oversees our cloud infrastructure.
You are responsible for:
- Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high availability cloud solutions.
- Defining best practices for security, compliance, operations, and reliability.
- Building infrastructure as code and automation.
- Optimizing cloud workloads for cost, performance, and scalability.
- Training and mentoring junior engineers on cloud practices and operations.
About you
Essential talents and qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to Computer Science.
- 6+ years of work experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or DevOps.
- Expertise with Microsoft Azure.
- Comprehensive experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a growing and fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Bonus points if you have:
- Cloud certifications.
- Experience with leading a small team.
- Experience with Helm, Ansible, and other automation tools.
- Customer support experience.
- Programming and scripting skills.
