Responsibilities
The Receptionist is responsible for all front desk operations including answering the phone and greeting clients and visitors. They direct calls, questions, and deliveries to the appropriate party. The Receptionist also supports clerical activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Phones
Receives and directs incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintains and distributes list of telephone numbers for all personnel, list of department extensions, names of key personnel, and their extensions.
Mail
Coordinates outgoing and incoming mail.
Checks the night drop box daily for any incoming mail or checks.
Scans and distributes mail and packages to appropriate personnel.
Sends and tracks certified mail.
Lending Library
Maintains and tests kit lending library by coordinating and distributing test materials to providers, reviewing kit content upon return, and collecting all necessary fees.
Maintains lending library inventory.
Orders test protocols as needed.
Scanning and data entry
Scans billing documents to the appropriate locations.
Scans and mails billing invoices on a monthly basis.
Office and Kitchen Supplies
Maintains an inventory of office supplies, and places orders in a timely manner, which includes but is not limited to:
a. General office supplies (e.g., letterhead, copy paper, pens)
b. Mailing supplies
c. Kitchen and cleaning supplies (e.g., coffee pods, sponges, gloves)
Other Responsibilities
Organizes, creates, and distributes Metro Therapy ID Badges to active providers.
Assists with data entry and file maintenance, as needed.
Checks in guests or visitors and directs them to the appropriate department.
Ensures that the reception area, waiting room, and common spaces are clean and organized.
Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
A high school degree or equivalent is required.
The Receptionist must have at least two years’ experience in an administrative role.
Posted Salary Range
USD $16.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
