ON Semiconductor is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the Global Sourcing & External Manufacturing team, located in Bucheon, South Korea. As a Strategic Sourcing Buyer, you will have the opportunity to work with onsemi multiple regional fab sites as well as different global suppliers. 

• Main Working Scope: Lead the best purchasing strategies of fab equipment and parts & service.
  • Global Initiatives: Find opportunities from multiple internal fab needs and variable vendors.
  • Strategic Plan: Setup a short and long-term plan of certain process tools & services purchasing.
  • Internal Relationship: Collaborations with stakeholders such as Engineering, Finance, and SCM teams.
  • Supplier Management: Relationship build-up and have the best interest & professional negotiation.
  • Execution: Keep monitoring progress and risks. Pro-actively mitigate possible issues and do problem-solving.

• BS degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain with 5-7 years relevant work experience.
• Candidates with 3-5 years of global experience on sourcing/procurement/purchasing from the semiconductor industry are preferred.
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English and Korean.
• Must be willing to travel internationally.
• Proven track record of being able to manage multiple requirements simultaneously and to prioritize key actions toward business objectives.
• Need to have skills to use Microsoft tools such as Excel, Powerpoint, and Word.
