Job Description

VCA Arden Animal Hospital is seeking a Locum Veterinarian to join our  

General Practice Hospital in Glendale, CA. 

  

This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays and weekends. 

  

Come experience a compassionate and collaborative work environment where experienced Doctors can continue to grow with the support of seasoned doctors. Be supported by our team of highly trained and talented Technicians. 

  • We have five doctors, six RVT's and additional knowledgeable support staff 

  • Large surgical suit, dental wet table, ultrasound, in house diagnostics, shared doctors office, grooming and boarding 

  • Hands-free radiology 

  • Fear-Free accredited or Fear Free Certified associates when possible 

  • Acupuncture 

Schedule 

  • Hours of Operation: Monday- Friday 8 am - 7 pm Saturday 8 am- 2 pm 

  • Closed Sunday 

Patient mix 

  • cats, dogs and rabbits

Compensation 

  •  $1,300 per relief shift. 

  • This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs. 

Qualifications 

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent 

  • Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain 

  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
