Who we are looking for
We are seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) to join our team as a hands-on problem solver, driving the design and delivery of scalable solutions across process, technology, and organisational change. This role requires a strong understanding of risk frameworks, control environments, and data management, combined with the ability to apply analytical and strategic thinking in a dynamic, international environment.
The AVP will play a key role in bringing transparency to complex, business-critical initiatives that span multiple teams, functions, and products. You will coordinate cross-functional dependencies, align priorities, and enable efficient, disciplined delivery across a matrix organisation.
Success in this role requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and a focus on measurable outcomes. You will champion governance, continuous improvement, and execution excellence, helping teams deliver effectively while adapting to evolving business and regulatory demands.
Key responsibilities
- Help break down projects into component parts, identifying and tracking dependencies and opportunities for optimization; proactively identify problems and recommend solutions before they become blockers
- Create and refine processes when necessary; maintain focus on reliability and continual improvements, and automation and scaling
- Identify KPIs and success metrics, collect and analyze data; make information visible
- Develop correlation of project objectives with measurable goals, roadmaps, and execution plans
- Use data and analytical skills to conduct assessments and utilize data management metrics and insights to influence in a compelling, action-oriented manner
- Leverage excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate risk/issues and progress against mitigating risk/issues
- Oversee projects in a matrixed-style environment while being an individual contributor

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in financial services or a related industry, including experience engaging with leadership executives and successfully driving and delivering complex and impactful strategic change programs
- You have experience in technical program management in a dynamic and highly technical environment, a strong track record in managing complex cross-functional projects. Technical aptitude, understanding technology in a business context
Minimum Salary:
zł182,004 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
