Job Description
- Partner with per-product and cross-functional leads (e.g., PM, SRE) to articulate the overall roadmap for the portfolio.
- Help own complex cross-organization efforts (e.g., release velocity, PubSub/Goops unification, cross-product integrations, Pub/Sub backlog statics and Google Managed Kafka reliability).
- Be responsible for organization wide engineering excellence (e.g., the right level of visibility/accuracy/follow-through for technical reviews).
- Understand our products’ relative strengths and weaknesses and then shape the roadmap accordingly.
- Mentor for per-product team leads.
