Job Description

Job Description:

The Assistant/Associate Analyst of Supply Chain S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) plays a critical role in enabling efficient, scalable growth across North America and EMEA by connecting demand, inventory, capacity, and network planning into an integrated decision-making process. This role leverages data, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to identify risks, evaluate tradeoffs, and provide actionable recommendations that optimize service, inventory productivity, and operational performance.

This individual will also support the continued expansion of A&F's global wholesale (3P) business by helping design, operationalize, and scale supply chain S&OP capabilities that enable profitable growth across new channels, geographies, and business models.

Working closely with Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, Strategy, and Technology partners, this role will help advance A&F's integrated planning capabilities while supporting strategic initiatives that shape the future of the supply chain network.

What Will You Be Doing?

Integrated Planning & Analytics

  • Support a standardized and scalable Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by preparing data, maintaining reporting, and enabling cross-functional alignment across demand, inventory, capacity, and network planning.
  • Analyze forecasts, inventory positions, and capacity plans across the network to identify risks, constraints, and opportunities, providing recommendations that support both near-term execution and long-range planning objectives.
  • Develop scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of demand shifts, capacity constraints, inventory strategies, and business initiatives on operational and financial performance.
  • Assess inventory health across the network, identifying opportunities to improve inventory productivity, increase service levels, reduce risk, and support financial goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and capacity utilization, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities that drive continuous improvement and business performance.

Supply Chain Strategy & Growth Enablement

  • Support the expansion of A&F's global wholesale (3P) business by evaluating supply chain requirements, demand patterns, fulfillment strategies, and operational capabilities needed to support growth.
  • Partner cross-functionally to design and implement scalable planning processes and supply chain solutions for new channels, products, markets, and business models.
  • Evaluate the operational impact of strategic initiatives and provide recommendations that align business opportunities with supply chain capabilities and performance expectations.
  • Support node-level sourcing and fulfillment strategy decisions by assessing cost, speed, service, inventory, and capacity tradeoffs to optimize customer experience and network performance.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Continuous Improvement

  • Build strong partnerships across Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, Strategy, Technology, and Operations to drive alignment and integrated decision-making.
  • Lead or support planning reviews and business discussions by synthesizing data into clear, concise insights for stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, tools, and reporting capabilities, contributing to a more efficient, scalable, and data-driven supply chain organization.
  • Support capability development efforts that enhance end-to-end planning visibility, decision quality, and organizational agility.

What Do You Need to Bring?

  • Bachelor's degree or related experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory planning, demand planning, operations analytics, supply chain strategy, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of integrated supply chain planning concepts, including demand planning, inventory management, capacity planning, S&OP/IBP, and supply chain performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI preferred) to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and communicate actionable insights. Experience with SQL, planning systems, or data modeling tools is a plus.
  • Experience analyzing complex business problems, evaluating tradeoffs, and developing data-driven recommendations that influence business decisions.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, concise insights and effectively communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence cross-functional partners, and drive alignment across competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience supporting wholesale, marketplace, omnichannel, or third-party (3P) fulfillment models is preferred.
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, ownership, strategic thinking, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working across teams, functions, regions, and time zones.
