Job Description
The Mechanical (Thermal) Engineer designs thermal and ventilation systems for customized AC/DC Power Modules, IT Modules, and Data Centers across IT, Telecom, and Industrial markets. The ME supports engineering inquiries and business development related to thermal performance. Responsibilities include developing thermal and ventilation designs for Data Centers, Central Offices, Switching Centers, and similar facilities, and working with the integration facility to produce detailed mechanical system drawings, HVAC layouts, cable management, and busway routing. Designs must meet all local code requirements, including seismic, hurricane, and climate standards. The ME also coordinates with structural, electrical, BMS, and fire suppression teams, and supports FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
