What are the must haves to join the team?
- Ability to empathize and provide top-notch, positive, patient care while connecting with
our diverse patient base. - A degree or certificate in Dental Assisting from an accredited program.
- CPR certification
Schedule:
You will be thrilled to know that we work NO WEEKENDS!
- Monday 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Tuesday 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Wednesday 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Thursday 7:30am - 3:00pm at Tahoe City location (optional)
- Friday 7:30am - 2:30 pm (alternating/optional)
Responsibilities
As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):
- Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
- Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
- Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
- Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
- Develop a relationship with the patient.
- Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
- Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
- Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Dental Assistant, X Ray license, CPR, infection control
- High school diploma or GED.
- Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
