  • Apply Australian Standards, client requirements, and industry practices in all work.
  • Translate 3D model outputs (e.g., surfaces, alignments, quantities) into coordinated 2D documentation; exposure to 12d/OpenRoads is beneficial.
  • Produce deliverables across road, rail, and port projects, including roadworks, pavements, drainage, interchanges, and associated infrastructure, considering staging and traffic management.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, civil/track, electrical, utilities) to ensure integrated design outcomes.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, contribute to continuous improvement, and support high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team, demonstrating sound judgement, initiative, and a balance of practicality and innovation.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in civil design/drafting within transport infrastructure (roads, rail, and/or ports), ideally in Western Australia.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of model-based design (e.g., 12d or similar) and ability to interpret 3D outputs into 2D documentation.
  • Experience with 12d or OpenRoads is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards and infrastructure design practices.
