Job Description:

Summary:

In this position, you will work closely with the professor to contribute to teaching activities for the undergraduate finance course KSB-221 (FIN-365). The candidate should have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education. The position is for 7 hours a week. 

Essential Functions:

  • Attend all scheduled class sessions and maintain accurate student attendance records.  

  • Proctor examinations as assigned by the instructors. 

  • Assist with grade distribution and record maintenance following examinations. 

  • Conduct weekly office hours (up to 1 hour) to provide academic support and answer student questions. 

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Part-time.

  • 7 hours per week.

Salary Range:

  • $18.40 per hour.

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Successful completion of KSB-221 (FIN-365) with demonstrated high academic performance. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Reliable and responsive communication with the course coordinator. 

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and fellow teaching assistants. 

  • Professional interpersonal skills for student, faculty, and staff interactions.
